Yes, we offer a 15-day free trial for up to two UniFi Talk numbers when installing UniFi Talk on the UniFi OS Console. To start your trial, set up UniFi Talk and connect up to 2 devices. Your trial period will begin when you complete the setup process and configure your numbers.

If you bring your own PBX, you can enjoy a 30-day free trial of UniFi Official Hosting, during which you can install Talk Relay to remotely manage up to 100 Talk G3 phones.

UniFi Talk seamlessly integrates with third-party SIP providers, enabling businesses to maintain their existing SIP provider relationships while taking advantage of UniFi Talk’s robust features.

Subscription locked phones must be assigned to a user with a unique, directly assigned UniFi Talk number and have an internet connection to function. These phones can share numbers with groups after assignment to an eligible user. Subscription locked phones are ideal for configurations where users are assigned a unique number to make and receive calls. For example, an installation with 20 phones assigned to users, each with a unique, individual phone number (i.e., 20 total phone numbers), can benefit from a lower initial hardware cost when using subscription locked phones.

Subscription unlocked phones are ideal for configurations where users only share numbers with groups. These phones do not require assignment to a user with a unique, directly assigned UniFi Talk number nor do they require an Internet connection to function. For example, an installation with 20 phones sharing a single phone number should use subscription unlocked phones.

Internal calls between UniFi Talk users are free and do not require a subscription.

Within the United States, UniFi Talk supports the porting of nearly all numbers. Currently, UniFi Talk does not support toll-free numbers and numbers associated with rate centers in very select geographic regions. If you want to validate the portability of specific numbers, please contact Ubiquiti support. Be sure to include the particular numbers you’d like to validate in your request.
